Incentivizing Replay Value

Walrus Fly encourages players to improve their score. Flying through rings consecutively, without missing a ring, will add to the player's Ring Streak multiplier. When the streak ends, the multiplier is applied to the current score, a number that will only continue to grow as the run goes on. In addition, the game has a built-in leaderboard where players can see how their scores compare to other players.

Walrus Run naturally incentivizes speedrunning. There is a built-in speedrun mode that disables all cheats, and a displays a speedrun timer. The player's time at the end of each level is also a major factor in determining their final rank.

There are three secret levels that can only be unlocked when the player gets an "A" rank or higher on all stages. Once all stages are complete, "New Game +" is unlocked in the Arcade Menu, which is similar to the main campaign, but with the secret levels at the end.
